The Mgallery collection of the Accor group reaches a total of nine hotels with two new structures in Milan: the Uptown Palace and the Grand Visconti Palace.

AccorHotels to sell 85 European Hotels

​The 85 hotels are being sold to a new, private hotel franchisee operator. The 85 hotels have an asset value of €594 million and are mostly midscale and economy hotels. The new entity will be dual owner by AccorHotels (30%) and Eurazeo (70%). The hotels are located in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The 85 hotels will remain under their AccorHotels flag, but will undergo renovations estimated at €100 million, in addition to the €358 million purchase price.The sale and creation of the new company was done in order to make AccorHotels more “Asset-Medium.”

A new ME by Melia in Milan in 2015

A new ME by Melia has been planned to open in 2015, under the name ME Milan il Duca. The hotel, which will be host in a re-designed building with intervention of archistar Aldo Rossi, will offer 132 rooms and suites to a discerning clientele.

Palazzo Parigi: New luxury hotel in Milan

A new luxury property recently opened in the heart of Brera district, with the name of Palazzo Parigi. The hotel has been developed from the former Kramer building, dated from the ’30s, and has been conceived by the local real estate group Giambelli. The property offers 98 rooms and suites, a restaurant and a lobby bar. Soon a roof and a SPA will be added to the hotel features.
