The Spanish hotel chain Barcelò has 5 hotels in Italy: 2 in Rome, 1 in Ostia and 2 in Sibari, Calabria and it is planning to open new ones in Milan, Florence and Venice, with structures dedicated to business, leisure and seaside resort in Sardinia and Basilicata regions. These will all be management or rental activities. In 2014, the Aran Mantegna of Rome will be renovated from a 4-star superior to category B Premium.
