The Chinese group HNA acquired a 20% stake of NH Hotels capital for 234 million euros. Besides the share investment, NH will have the chance to benefit from the traffic of Chinese passengers created by HNA and new opportunities linked to the management of the HNA group hotels. Furthermore, the NH brand will easier penetrate the Chinese market. Thanks to this strategic agreement, together with the reorganization program underway, the Group will have more chances to find the necessary funds to definitely consolidate the financial balance. Meanwhile, NH Hotels is going on with the expansion plan on the Italian market. While the NH area of Santa Giulia (Milan) has been opened up, the Group is preparing for a new opening in Parma, nearby the railway station.
