The strategy of investment on international markets proves to be winning. In the first six months period of 2013 the Spanish group Melia registered an increase of 5.5% in revPar and 14.4% in the net profit, which amounts 12.1 million. Investments go on in Italy and two more structures managed in Capri and Sicily join the other 4 already present in the portfolio.
A new ME by Melia in Milan in 2015
A new ME by Melia has been planned to open in 2015, under the name ME Milan il Duca. The hotel, which will be host in a re-designed building with intervention of archistar Aldo Rossi, will offer 132 rooms and suites to a discerning clientele.
