The Taiwan based LDC Hotels & Resort Group recently bought a building in Venice with the aim to transform it in a hotel. The group already acquired two properties in Italy, the Relais Sant’Uffizio Wellness & Spa Hotel and the Relais Villa Monte Solare Hotel.**-9+-
15 new hotels on the way in the historical center of Venice
In the next few months 15 hotels and 300 new rooms will join the 25,000 beds -among hotels, B&B and apartments- of the historic center of Venice. Even if the tourist presence has been the same as last year, profits are decreasing and a further price “drop” is feared. In fact, the cost per overnight stay in a standard room passed from 202.2 euros in 2011 to 196.5 euros in 2012.
